Got to Istanbul at 12 noon. Ali was waiting for me. He is adorable, I had not seen him since 1998 when we both had to leave the US because of the Fulbright Grant conditions. He went to Columbia, I went to NYU. He's a very talented architect, expert in regional and vernacular turkish houses. Straight and single for all of you girls out there, a fabulous man!
