Paris Bars and clubs

Le Cox, L'Insolite, le Raid et le Bears Den... Le cox is a place in the Marais that looks very Glam, with a lot of neon colors in the 70's post-hippie style. Older crowd and a drawing of Ziggy Stardust on the wall. L'Insolite was amazing, ecclectic sound, neighborhood club, we even danced salsa and Shakira there with Laurent until 5.30 AM. Le Bears Den, I was expecting something better. Small and kind of dirty. Just walked in and left... I guess, even though I'm kind of bearish, I do not really fit in there. Am I getting old? :o) The Raid was really cool, very modern and has a public shower where the waiters - much like the big hunks/porn stars at Splash in NY - take showers behind a glass... I ran into a friend, Herman, I hadn't seen in ten years, when we both used to live in NYC. What a surprise, he was married and now he finally got out of the closet, divorced and really really happy. I just welcomed him the the gay world with a big hug. Great guy.
